Les Guides Fédéraux Galops® de la Fédération Française d'Equitation proposent un parcours d'acquisition à suivre par le cavalier pour devenir un cavalier accompli. Conformément au programme Galops® 2022, le Guide fédéral des Galops® 5 à 9 comprend deux volumes : Pratique équestre et Connaissances équestres. Ce tome 2, intitulé Connaissances équestres, comporte deux grands chapitres. • La Connaissance du cheval met l'accent sur sa nature animale pour bien le comprendre et assurer son bien-être. Ils incluent le développement de son anatomie et de ses races, de son pelage et de son identification. • La culture générale s'ouvre sur l'histoire du cheval et de l'équitation. Ils rappellent les grands maîtres, les grandes écoles et les champions olympiques français. Le chapitre se poursuit par la présentation de l'environnement institutionnel de l'équitation et se termine par l'organisation de la compétition. En complément des Guides, l'Échelle de Progrès traite des étapes de l'entraînement du cheval.
The Federal Galops® Guides of the French Equestrian Federation offer a path of acquisition to be followed by the rider to become an accomplished horseman or woman. In accordance with the 2022 Galops® program, the Federal Guide to Galops® 5 to 9 includes two volumes: Equestrian Practice and Equestrian Knowledge. This volume 2, entitled Equestrian Knowledge, has two large chapters. • The Knowledge of the horse places great emphasis on its animal nature to fully understand it and ensure its well-being. They include development on its anatomy and on breeds, coats and identification. • General knowledge opens with the history of horses and riding. They recall the great masters, the great schools and the French Olympic champions. The chapter continues with the presentation of the institutional environment of horse riding and concludes with the organization of the competition. Complementing the Guides, the Progress Scale deals with the stages of horse training.
